Alexina Carroll

Alexina Carroll, 98, of Escuminac, New Brunswick, died peacefully on September 25, 2021, at Miramichi Regional Hospital in Miramichi NB.

Born December 10, 1922 in Point Sapin, New Brunswick, she is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Ameliene Martin of Point Sapin and her late husband John (Jack) Carroll of Escuminac, New Brunswick.

Alexina was a homemaker living in Escuminac, NB. for most her life. She was a loving mother of twelve children and a grandmother to six generations of grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters: Leoda Manuel (Cyrille) of Portage River, NB; Catherine Carroll of South Nelson, NB; Joan McGrath (Lloyd) of Burton, NB; and Helen Daley (Harold) of Miramich, NB. Sons: Claude Carroll of South Nelson, NB; Bernard Carroll of Escuminac, NB; Johnny Carroll (Rachelle) of Miramichi Bay, NB; Keith Carroll of Escuminac NB; Kevin Carroll (Arlene) of Saint Charles, NB; and Hugh Carroll (Micheline) of Petawawa, Ontario. Predeceased by her two sons: Gary Carroll (Rosalie) and Richard Carroll.

Service arrangements and cremation were entrusted to Maher’s Funeral Home, Miramichi, New Brunswick.

Private burial arrangements are limited to close family due to the COVID 19 pandemic protocols at the Escuminac cemetery at a later date.
