Bernetta Mary Brideau

Bernetta Mary Brideau, 93, of Dieppe, NB, formerly of Miramichi, NB, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the Dr. George L. Dumont University Centre in Moncton, NB.

Born in Chatham, NB, the daughter of the late Peter & Frances (Savoie) Malley.

Bernetta was cherished for the family gatherings.

She had a passion for music and bowling.

Bernetta is survived by her daughter: Linda Lawrence (Art Power) of Grand Bay, NB, sons: Roger Brideau (Denise) of Dieppe, NB, Michael Brideau (Theresa) of Quispamsis, NB, her loving Grandchildren: Ryan Brideau, Mike Lawrence, Eric Brideau, Dylan Brideau, Jason Harding and April Harding and Great-grandchildren: Jordan and Reid Lawrence, Jordan, Harlow and Parker Schpansky.

Bernetta is the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Besides her parents, Bernetta is predeceased by her husband Gerard Brideau, sisters Irene, Gladys, Mary-Mae, and Theresa, brothers Wallace, Ernest, Leonard, Leo and Raymond.

Bernetta Mary Brideau is resting at Maher’s Funeral Home, 35 University Avenue, Miramichi, NB, on Thursday, July 4, 2019 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 5, 2019 at 11:00 am from St. Michael’s Basilica, Miramichi, NB, with Father John Keoughan officiating.

As an expression of sympathy, a donation may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society (www.mssociety.ca) or a memorial of one's would be appreciated by the family.
