Mary Bertha Comeau
Bertha Comeau born in Loggieville passed away peacefully at her residence at the Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the age of 91.
She is survived by her children Janine (Wayne) Olsen, Roger (Margie) Comeau, Georgette (Nate) Hall, Ron (Karen) Comeau, Leon (Nancy) Comeau. Grandchildren: Angie Blakeney, Deney Olsen, Scott Comeau, Josh Comeau, Amanda Comeau, Mark Hall, Darren Hall, Jason Hall, Lana Cassidy, Vicki Wishart, Jamie Comeau, Melissa Bowie and Nick Comeau. Great-grandchildren: Shelby-Lynn Olsen, Sara Druskin, Jack, Hanna Hall, Ben, Will, and Campbell Cassidy, Luke and Abby Wishart and Brady Bowie. Brothers and Sisters: Frank (Léda) Comeau, Lawrence Comeau, Eleanor Comeau, Edith Duguay, Rena (Gary) Davis, Richard (Betty) Comeau, Rachael (Bob) Sealy, Doris (Vic) LeFaive, Clarence Comeau (Debbie), Pansy McPherson. Sister in laws Connie Comeau, Phyllis Comeau, Louise Comeau and Numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Roméo, son Dennis, parents Henry and Josephine Comeau, brothers: Edmond Comeau, John Comeau, Rennie Comeau, sisters in laws Lillian Comeau, Alice Comeau .
Bertha Comeau rested at Maher's Funeral Home Miramichi N.B. on Tuesday March 27, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday March 28, 2018 at 11am from St Andrew's Roman Catholic Church Loggieville with Celebrant Fr Charles Udeh and Con-Celebrant Fr. John Keoughan. Readers were Amanda Comeau and Vicki Wishart, Prayers of the Faithful by Diane Robichaud. Eulogy by Karen Comeau. Hymns were Here I am Lord, Psalm 116, Peace is flowing Like a River, Gentle Woman, Songs Of The Angles, and Into Your Hands by ST. Andrew's Choir and Organist Norma A. Sugden, St Andrew's Altar Servers. Pallbearers were Nicholas Comeau, Josh Comeau, Perry Comeau, Adam Comeau, Renald Comeau, Reno Comeau, Bernard McLaughlin, and Frankie Robichaud. Honor Guard were Wayne Olsen, Nate Hall, Betty Ann Eastwood, Judy McKenzie, Danny McCormack, Keith Daley, Sandra Richard, Kay Richard, Jackie Richard, Margaret Richard, and Sharon McGrath.
