Marie Theresa Cabel, 72, of Princess Street Miramichi, N.B. passed away on Saturday January 6, 2018 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital.
Born in Chatham N.B. the daughter of the late Howard and Mary Clara (Daigle) Matchett.
She is survived by daughter: Theresa (Terri) Arseneault (Joe) of Miramichi, son: Jason Cabel (Nicole) of Moncton, four grandchildren Wendy, Jonathan, Michelle, Aaron, five great-grandchildren: Evan, Maddison, Hayden, Landyn, Karter. She is also survived by her sisters: Joanie LeBlanc (Blair) of Saint John, Mary (Delima) Sargent (late Rodney) of Miramichi, Joanne Bechard (Ray) of Miramichi, Mary Ann Matchett (Jeanne) of Miramichi. Brothers: Ernie Matchett (late Yvonne) of London Ontario, Bert Matchett (Doreen) of Miramichi, Herbie Matchett (Sheila) of Mississauga, Ontario, Elton Matchett (Dianne) of Miramichi and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter Cabel, brothers: Howard, John, and Arnold, sister: Florence.
At her request there is no visitation at the funeral home. A private family service will be held at a later date.
